The Geodynamics Project
Main Article Content
Abstract
The historical development of the study of the dynamics of the earth, and of the processes that produce its surface features, is outlined. This development leads up to the Geodynamics Project, an international venture sponsored by the world scientific organizations in the field of geology and geophysics. The opportunities for research in Mexico, Central America and
the Caribbean region are stressed.
