Inyección de fluidos de baja entalpía en el campo geotermico de Los Humeros, Puebla, México

Abstract
In this study we analyze the consequences of low-enthalpy brine-inyection in the production- and thermodynamic- state of the geothermal reservoir of Los Humeros (Puebla State, Mexico). We used an analytic model that evaluates the propagation speed of the thermal front. The model considers that the fluid is incompressible; a radial propagation for the temperature front and an instantaneous thermal equilibrium between brine, geothermal fluids, and rock matrix through which it flows. It is estimated that geothermal brine reinjection at well H-28 at a rate of 90 ton/h does not affect the reservoir thermal state.
