Abstract
This number of Geofísica Internacional includes the second part of a special volume being published as part of the activities of the National Committee for the Interna tional Lithosphere Program (ILP). The ILP was established in September 1980 by the International Council of Scientific Unions (ICSU), with the objective of consti tuting the majar international interdisciplinary research program for the decade 1980-1989.
