Un análisis semiobjetivo para el campo de viento en los trópicos
Main Article Content
Abstract
The semi-objective analysis for wind fields in the tropics Is achieved through: 1) An objective analysis of the wind field uslng the method of successive corrections, (2) A subjective analysis of the divergence and vorticity fields by using a satellite photograph, 3) An objective analysis of the same fields; this latter gives rise to initial and boundary value problems for two Poisson equations. The potential and stream functions are obtained from these equations and finally, by derivation, the wind field is determined.
