Análisis espectral del bióxido de azufre en la ciudad de México y su relación con algunos parámetros meteorológicos
Main Article Content
Abstract
SO2 time and spatial variations for the urban area Mexico City are examined by means of the period and eigenvector analysis. Eigenvectors 1 to 6 explain 74 percent of the total variance of time series of SO2. Significant periodic fluctuations in the series of the first eigenvector are the 11.5 and 7.8 hour periods. By means of multiple correlation, equations are proposed to attempt short -period forecasts of SO2 concentration levels in Mexico City.
