Abstract
In the north-west area of the Basin of Mexico (Tultitlan, Mexico State) there is an industrial waste disposal containing soluble chromium salts (Cr VI). The infiltration of rain water promotcs percolation and, consequently, groundwater contamination. A geoelectrical study was performed in this zone; it consisted of 51 pro files with electrodical distances AB=40 m, whose analysis and interpretation allowed us to obtain a tridimensional geometrical scheme of the contaminated terrain.
