Abstract
A little more than a decade after the end of the twentieth century, only two voluminous works on the geology of Mexico have been published: the one by Lopez Ramos (1983) and the one discussed in this review, coordinated by G. Salas. Much was needed and it will certainly be useful for various students and professionals related to Earth sciences: geologists, geophysicists, geographers, mining engineers and others.
