Segundo Congreso Geomorfológico Internacional

Abstract

From September 3 to 9, 1989, the Second International Geomorphological Congress was held in Frankfurt, Federal Republic of Germany. Its organization was under the responsibility of Arno Semmel and Dietrich Barsch. Various topics related to terrestrial relief were treated in nine sections, which included: ecological problems, applied geomorphology, theory, neotectonics and structural geomorphology, climatic geomorphology, fluvial, coastal and karst geomorphology, and the last one, relief evaluation, geomorphological cartography and remote sensing, these subdivided into 43 subsections.
