La marea y el nivel del mar a lo largo de la Costa Occidental de México
Main Article Content
Abstract
The results of a scrutiny of the tidal data accumulated along the west coast of Mexico since 1952 are summarized in this paper. They allow the construction of plausible cotidal charts for the harmonic constituents of the tide; the seasonal cycles in level are found to be very regular. Net changes in the local tide at Topolobampo are apparent and there is evidence of land uplift at Acapulco.
