Hidrología de ecosistemas limitados: estuarios de cuña salina

Abstract
A study carried out in the estuary of the Zaza river during the year 1973 is presented, in which the general hydrological conditions, such as temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, density and stability of the waters, as well as processes of circulation, mixing and stagnation are determined. These investigations allow us to classify this estuary and, furthermore, to conclude, that the conditions that were found can be extrapolated to other similar estuaries that exist associated with the construction of dams, waters above their outlets.
