Information For Librarians

Open access journals and especially Higher Education entities are publications of great impact among the world scientific community, due to the fact that their articles are evaluated by peers and published under strict quality levels. In our days, open science is a relevant topic to share the research carried out between the scientific and academic communities, which entails a great social commitment.

That is why we invite librarians and other information specialists to include the International Geophysics journal in their library service portals, so that their users can consult an open access journal, indexed in the Web of Science and in Scopus, with alternative metrics and with a coverage of more than 60 years of uninterrupted life specialized in different disciplines such as seismology, volcanology, space weather, geothermal energy, deep waters, etc.

On the other hand, it is important to note that this journal's open source publishing system is suitable for libraries with academic staff who wish to edit their own journals (see Open Journal Systems), thus achieving interoperability between different information sources.
