Abstract

The consolidation of the ecological studies proposed in the International Gcosphere-Biosphere Programme (lGBP) leads one to formulate the conceptual aspects of this programme and, in particular. to define the role and place of the problems of the sun-atmosphere relationships. In this connection we shall. first, briefly characterize the IGBP.
