Abstract

Dr. Gunter Buntebarth (lnstitut fUr Geophysik, Tee. Universitat, Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Bundesrepublik Deutschland) wrote a book in German, entitled "Geothermie", published by Springer-Verlag in 1980. Given the scientific-economic-social importance of geothermal material, due to the increasing demand for energy and the "finite" nature of fossil fuels, a modified version of the pound was translated into English, by Inga M. Chapman and Prof. Dr. David S. Chapman, and published by the same house (Springer-Verlag) in 1984.
