This volume on the geology of the Baja California peninsula includes a set of 23 papers by different authors, several of which were presented at a symposium of the same title, held in April, 1984, in the city of San Diego, Calif., within the Annual Meeting of the Pacific sections of the Society of Paleontologists and Economic Mineralogists (SEPM), American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG). The volume is edited by Virgil A. Frizzell, Jr., of the US Geological Survey, and published as volume 39 by the Pacific Section of SEPM.
