30 años de Geofísica Internacional, a note from the Publishers

Abstract

This is Volume 30 of GEOFISICA INTERNACIONAL. Congratulations to the journal, to the members of the Editorial Board, to the reviewers, to the editors, and to the editorial personnel!. Founded by Dr Julian Adem and ably edited during the first decade by the late Manuel Maldonado Koerdell, our journal never missed an issue in 30 years. Today it is probably the foremost serial publication in its field in Latin America and it has earned the respect of the world geophysical community. 'GEOFISICA INTERNACIONAL is the official journal of the Mexican Geophysical Union. It carries in its name an enduring committment to intemational geophysics. At this time we wish to rededicate our journal to its international readership. We thank our faithful authors and welcome them as ever to our pages!
