Perfiles N(h) sobre Cuba y su comparación con los resultados del IRI
Main Article Content
Abstract
Based on the calculation of average N(h) profiíes. experimental results from 4 months of minimum and 4 months of maximum solar activity were compared with the modelling predictions from the "lntemational Reference lonosphere" (lRI). The IRI models reasonably the region of the F2 peak in Cuba. while discrepancies increase notably with decreasing height. Generally, the agreement between the model and experimental data shows no clear dependence on the solar activity. It is greater during the day and at equinox than in nocturnal and solsticial conditions.
